Here we have a seed pod. I'm sure everyone knows what that is. When the flower is pollinated, the egg in the ovary is fertilized and then the ovary becomes the seed pod.
Here you see a parasite. I don't know what those little star-shaped things are, but they don't look like they're making the plant happy...
On the other hand here you have a symbiotic relationship. The, um, I don't remember what it's called. The white stuff is good, but the tree isn't affected.
